Icelandic horse is a breed of horses developed in Iceland. Despite being pony-sized, they are referred as a
horse due to their strength and can carry an adult man with ease. They have
two extra gaits compared to normal horses, tölt and pass. They’re so
comfortable that many people who try Icelandic horses don’t even want to go
back to other ones! They also have incredibly steady feet so we can easily ride them on very uneven ground without any risks. If you want to know about Icelandic horses check this link.
We currently have 6 of our horses,
many of them related to each other and born on the farm. They are very well trained. They are family-friendly and act very
well with children. For children we can offer lead walks in the neighborhood, depending on age and
level.
Icelandic horses are not vaccinated so you have to disinfect your used horse riding gear before coming to Iceland. See this link for more details.
We offer tours in small groups (maximum 4 people) for the
following prices (per person) for 2025:
1,5 hour – 13000isk
2 hours - 15000isk
We can also come to special arrangements in person.
